The subtitle reads 'Memory of the life behind my parents' store.' Van der Linden developed her idea for this story with Gerrit van Dijk in shaded animations in colour and black-and-white. They show the final days of a small grocer, her father, whose store is forced to close by the arrival of a supermarket. (Nederlands Film Festival)
