Seven young adults arrive at a rundown conference facility to participate in an unconventional new group workshop. The subject: learning how to stand up to their parents. Run by a domineering amateur psychologist named Jo Pressburger, the participants undergo a series of increasingly bizarre exercises, designed to empower them in challenging the authority figures around them. But when Jo pushes her teaching a step too far, the group are forced to put their new-found liberation to the test. (Venice International Film Festival)
