I've never had the opportunity to see this legendary farce live in the theater, nor am I familiar with previous TV adaptations. Therefore, I have nothing to compare it to - on the other hand, the performance seems excellent to me, and how each actor handled their roles is flawless. Viktor Preiss is delightful in his demanding dual role full of disguises and transformations. Overall impression 90%.
