Pan Polny

A tribute to a man who is working in the fields - a poor Polish farmer who resisted collectivisation. A short film about the love for freedom and the price people had to pay for it. The film was made in 1975 at the time when the communists' pressure on individual farmers to collectivise their farms was very strong in Poland. Therefore, Pan Polny was censored and forbidden to participate in the Short Film Festival in Krakow. (International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam)
