Between the ethnography and the myth, taking the chiaroscuro Pedro Costa’s films as inspiration, Jaime Puertas gives us a close and universal portrait of the rural gypsy community of La Puebla de don Fadrique, Granada. The axis is Aurora, a woman who spends her days working in the forest and immersed in her daily tasks. The appearance of a primitive dimension, the annunciation of the oracle, the lights of a musical bar, the dead animals, a fire and a new forest ranger will make Aurora wake up from her winter lethargy.
