The film's depiction of human feet touching different kinds of surfaces also reflects the viewers' experience with various visual structures. Cave paintings, men's and women's feet, stone surfaces, rocky surfaces, fields, and desiccated ground. The film is a kind of cinematic trance divided into several parts: a Sunday mass and ritual walking, walking for work, and the motionlessness of motion.
