Julia finds out that she is pregnant with her ex-husband’s child but he doesn’t know. She is thirty-years-old and she has to decide what to do with the coming baby. At night, she has trouble sleeping, and when she manages to; her dreams terrify her. In her dreams she drowns, sinking deeper and deeper, unable to swim back to the surface. Breathe is a drama-laden, tense, intricate story. A product of Julia’s life and her futile attempts at avoiding coping with her loss. (Guadalajara International Film Festival)
