Paulo Gale is a black man who doesn’t have a defined career, but has found a way to survive selling trinkets in the hurried traffic of Rio de Janeiro. When fortune permits him an opportunity to change his life by becoming a football manager, he searches the suburbs of Rio de Janerio for an unknown football talent. Gale discovers Glanderson, a boy with an outstanding talent for soccer who, like many others, dreams of being a professional soccer player, but never had the opportunity. Gale believes in the boy’s talent and is committed to leveraging his career. By improvising trainings, venturing contacts, and designing projects, Gale exposes his entrepreneurial character and his creativity. The mishaps and stumblings of Gale and Glanderson bring a comic tinge to the story that reveals the daily reality for many Brazilians, who, between difficulties and dreams, are only trying to do the best for their families.
