Dans la brume

This apocalyptic thriller is set in the heart of Paris, home to Mathieu, his wife Anna and their 11-year-old daughter Sarah, who is confined to a hermetically sealed chamber due to a rare disease. But when an earthquake brings Paris to a standstill, its streets blanketed in toxic dust, the couple are among the only ones left alive. They are high above the city in their old friends’ flat; their daughter remains isolated in her plastic bubble, but her time is running out – the batteries of her life-support system won’t last much longer. Mathieu and Anna are determined to save Sarah, even if it means risking their own lives. Will they find a way through the pestilent, impenetrable fog enveloping the city? (Art Film Fest)
