A musical world of emotion, colours and art meets with exact science in two episodes of the series Computer Says Show. It is a seemingly incongruous combination which creates an extraordinary experiment. It is both a playful and original project along with a groundbreaking study which demonstrates how to create a musical using modern computer technology. The composers and lyricists Benjamin Till and Nathan Taylor, with the help of experts in the field of information technology, have created a computer‑ generated musical. In the first episode we watch the creation of an artwork, in which every aspect of the process was composed using computers and hard science. Thanks to the data obtained from thousands of their shows, the international team has written step by step a recipe for a successful hit show with the perfect plot, catchy lyrics and music generated by a computer program aptly called Android Lloyd Webber. The result of the series is a unique musical entitled Beyond the Fence which premiered in 2016 at a London West End theater. (Academia Film Olomouc)
