A high-octane action film featuring 90's movie heroes, explosive action and international espionage, Vigilante Diaries revolves around a team of black-ops agents turned crime-fighters led by a brooding anti-hero known only as The Vigilante. I was considering giving the film at least an average rating, but in the end, I decided not to. Some of the characters are fine, and some are annoying, but overall, I wasn't particularly entertained by the story presented here, which lacks originality and relies on the fascination with "everyday superheroes." I liked some of the actors here a lot, though, like Michael Jai White.
