English Lost After Dark in itself isn’t very interesting or good, but as a homage to the silly slasher movies from the 1980s was surprisingly likeable. It’s well made, fairly entertaining, with an original alteration in the order the death of each of the characters, as other reviewers have pointed out. ()

English A Canadian massacre with whatever comes to hand. A love letter to the genre from passionate fans who honor the defining elements of the Reagan era in such a way that it’s hard to fault them (well, except for the confusion in the death order: "You do drugs, you die. You have sex, you die. You're a rebel, you die."). Robert Patrick may no longer have the Terminator's stamina when running after a vehicle, but as the strict Mr. C, who served in 'Nam, his ramblings manage to elevate the film's level. ()

English If the film Lost After Dark didn't rely on standards and tried to inject a bit more creativity into individual scenes - even the bus suddenly stopping is a big cliché - it could be celebrated as a very good tribute to classic slasher films. As it stands, it's more or less average, only elevated slightly by the fact that the creators went for it, and the stylization was fairly well executed. ()
