Deep yellow is not a particularly calming colour. And then imagine a red phone ringing. In films – affected plays – by Shen Jie, regular situations can suddenly get out of control and defy normal film principles. As in his previous film Stammer, the director creates characteristic sounds and accompanies this “short film about a telephone” with his own voice. (Anifilm)
