Karpopotter

A documentary about retracing the route of an unusual amateur road movie – many years later... Around 1970, at the peak of the Yugoslavian "Black Wave", a young filmmaker called Karpo Godina decided to travel with his camera through the flat hinterland of Vojvodina. One village follows another and an original film emerges about the multiethnic character of the region, titled Imam jednu kucu (I Have a House). After some time passed, only fragments of the footage were preserved. Forty years on, another filmmaker with his camera sets out on his journey through the flat landscape in the footsteps of Karpo Godina. (Finále Plzeň)
