Mexico in Flames can be credited with a number of positives - a decent budget, excellent cinematography, great locations, strong casting, and experienced direction. All components of the film, including the music, are dedicated to the main goal - to create a magnificent historical fresco about the Mexican Revolution, understandably somewhat (quite a bit) idealized. Overall impression 80%. I would have no complaints about the formal aspects of the film, but the content would warrant a lengthy commentary... ()
