Ninety-seven years ago, nuclear Armageddon decimated planet Earth, destroying civilization. The only survivors were the 400 inhabitants of 12 international space stations that were in orbit at the time. Three generations have been born in space, the survivors now number 4,000, and resources are running out on their dying "Ark" - the 12 stations now linked together and repurposed to keep the survivors alive. Draconian measures including capital punishment and population control are the order of the day, as the leaders of the Ark take ruthless steps to ensure their future, including secretly exiling a group of 100 juvenile prisoners to the Earth's surface to test whether it's habitable. For the first time in nearly a century, humans have returned to planet Earth. Among the 100 exiles are Clarke, the bright teenage daughter of the Ark's chief medical officer; Wells, son of the Ark's Chancellor; the daredevil Finn; and the brother/sister duo Bellamy and Octavia, whose illegal sibling status has always led them to flaunt the rules. Technologically blind to what's happening on the planet below them, the Ark's leaders - Clarke's widowed mother, Abby; the Chancellor, Jaha; and his shadowy second in command, Kane - are faced with difficult decisions about life, death and the continued existence of the human race. For the 100 young people on Earth, however, the alien planet they've never known is a mysterious realm that can be magical one moment and lethal the next. With the survival of the human race entirely in their hands, THE 100 must find a way to transcend their differences, unite and forge a new path on a wildly changed Earth that's primitive, intense and teeming with the unknown. What You Take with You (2019) (S06E09)
That farewell before the big space journey was cringeworthy. The only thing that could top this would be Boromir's send-off. But it wasn't all doom and gloom. There were a few shining moments in there that actually got me thinking. Who knew the creators had it in them?

Matryoshka (2019) (S06E10)
So, picture this: a killer plot, top-notch directors, and a stellar cast. That's what the tenth episode could've been, but alas, we got another round of the same old same old. I mean, seriously, how many times do we have to watch Ferrari dodge death? Who even believes that something could actually happen to her at this point?

Ashes to Ashes (2019) (S06E11)
Darth Sheidheda took a detour from the Star Wars universe this time, channeling some serious Seventh Seal vibes, and it kind of set the tone for how this episode played out. We had the usual long-winded, uninspiring dialogue about self-sacrifice, rescues without victims, and all that jazz. But hey, amidst all that, Echo's (Ash's) storyline caught me off guard. Not because it was particularly riveting, but because who knew you could sneak up on someone while riding a horse?

Adjustment Protocol (2019) (S06E12)
After all that meticulous planning, it's underwhelming to say the least. But hey, at least Ferrari steps up as a better infiltrator than our dear, misguided Josephine. And props to the creators for finally sacrificing one of the major characters.

The Blood of Sanctum (2019) (S06E13)
Looks like the screenwriter's nurse forgot to double-check his meds again because he went off the rails here. We've got Jedi sorting out their midi-chlorians and rejecting the dark side of the force, random breathable atmospheres popping up in space, and Hope magically appears. Talk about ridiculous...
