David Lynch had an idea and decided to take a camera and go to the Idem Paris print studio, where they still use an old printing press, and show us how the printing process works. He recorded a relatively short work routine, and that's it. There's nothing extra in this; there's nothing artistic about it. It's just a documentary that lacks the basic element – information. There's silence except for a few French words, and it’s just the machine running. I like Lynch, but he doesn't always lay golden eggs. Sometimes, it’s just an egg.
