Considered a pioneer of the use of reinforced concrete in the construction of buildings, Auguste Perret was a prominent French architect who, along with his brother Gustave, founded the studio A. & G. Perret Architectes. For Heinz Emigholz, a German filmmaker who uses architecture as the leading element of his films, the work of the two brothers could not go unnoticed. In this documentary film, Emigholtz makes a research that compares the different Perret buildings of France and Algeria during the first half of the last century. The result is a reflection based on architecture, about cultural differences and history. (El Riviera Maya Film Festival)
