Three children from Frankfurt want to be documentary film directors. Each of them has an idea and they each start work on their own movies. But in a twist, these young documentary filmmakers are also being filmed. Karina is 11 and wants to make a documentary about life in a nursing home. But her child-like curiosity and naivety meet the bitter life experience of the seniors - not everything is lovely and funny in a nursing home. Byron is 9 and has a rather high IQ. His film is about highly gifted children, but the more he deals with highly gifted children, the more it becomes a movie about himself. Samuel is 12 and wants to make a documentary about his mother who migrated from Ghana. While making the film he notices that it also has to deal with his absent father. With his camera in his hands, he works up the courage to meet his father. (Zlín Film Festival)
