It’s well shot, visually pleasant and mysterious, but empty. Basically, it’s about nothing: a classmate reunion, the night lights up for a moment and then everybody gradually disappears. How’s that possible? Just the way the screenwriter wrote it. I could take that. The problem is that the film doesn’t have even a hint of tension and it’s unable to make you relate to or fear for any of the characters that haven’t disappeared yet. And there’s something wrong with a film when not even a scene where the protagonists are being chased by raging German shepherds had any effect on me, someone terrified by dogs. ()
