Saturday Night at the Baths

An early cinematic examination of New York City's gay scene, this witty drama follows openly homophobic Michael (Robert Aberdeen), who takes a job as a pianist at Manhattan's Continental bath house out of financial desperation. As Michael's girlfriend endures his tirades over unwanted overtures from his gay supervisor, it becomes apparent that Michael is protesting too much, and he finds himself contemplating "changing teams."
