A journey into the interior. A group of practicing Buddhists travel to the Monastery of Sherab Link in India. We share their experiences as we go deeply down along a path of silence and emptiness. Just like a Mandala, once the cardinal structure is built, it breaks up. A large part of Buddhist iconography is based on colour and the idea of circularity. The Buddhist philosophy has a quality of kinetic movement and rituality which could be likened to the film-making. Blow Horn is a journey to India which contains the spiritual essence of Buddhism and which finishes in abstraction. A visual meditation. (Karma Films)
