In the seemingly perfect town of Serenity, the Burnett family is coming apart at the seams. But when a romantic tryst-gone-wrong with the next door neighbor (Chi McBride) leaves housewife Bunnie (Hope Davis) with short term memory loss, Jack (Dermot Mulroney) and the rest of his dysfunctional family are given an unexpected second chance at suburban bliss. First, you have to lose someone to finally realize how much you miss them. That is exact. It's a shame that it's said by a guy from such a crazy movie like American Beauty. At the beginning, the movie is weirdly good, but funny, then it's about God for a while, then about memory loss and who knows what other events, and then it's mainly about happiness. Anyway, all of this is connected by a cool story that doesn't annoy, including the actors themselves. ()
