English At some point I came to terms with the fact that those two kids would be in that stupid green maze until the end credits. I was looking forward to Atrocious, but in the end it’s a below-par film. At least the execution is more professional than the recent, and awful The Tunnel. But the long night scenes, where the only thing you can see is shrubbery, really pissed me off. The ending is OK. ()

English Atrocious follows the classic trend of found footage films and aims to transfer the horror to the viewer by making them a part of the story through the handheld camera. This just didn't work for me and I didn't become part of the story. On the contrary, this handheld camera style is starting to really repel me, and I can no longer understand the appeal for which it continues to be used. But young - and maybe not only young filmmakers - will keep trying. And maybe next time they'll manage to scare me a bit again. But not in this case. ()
