English I was drawn to Bellamy because of Gérard Depardieu, as I am with many films he’s in, but even his presence couldn’t save this one from being an absolute bore. I found myself struggling through every minute of its 106-minute runtime. The story is dull, and the pacing is just painful. It’s a brutally average film that Depardieu tries hard to salvage, but not even he can pull it off. As for Clovis Cornillac, well, this just reminded me that his most memorable role, in my opinion, was playing the worst live-action Asterix. ()
