In his first feature, Harold Lloyd plays a small-town milquetoast whose meekness keeps him from joining a manhunt for a killer. Harold seeks advice from his grandmother, who tells him of a "magic charm" that filled his grandfather (also played by Lloyd) with courage during the Civil War. (official distributor synopsis)
