Get Real

It's time to come out with the truth before it consumes you from the inside and tears you apart, or a likeable and funny British film that deals with the issue of sexual orientation. The premise is at times a textbook example of clichés and tired dialogue, but on the other hand it deals with real issues. In short, a film that, alongside its dramatic confessions, doesn't lack a comedy line. (2011-06-05)

A British coming-out drama, but utterly unsurprising and clichéd… and I don’t really know other similar films. I watched this one by pure chance, I didn’t even know what I was going into before the screening. And yet, I got the impression that this is what other films of the sub-genre must be like, those that are nothing special, that is. (2013-04-03)
