English James Stewart is simply such a great actor that you'll believe in him even as a guy trying to broker peace between the whites and the Apache. The script may be somewhat cliché by today's standards, with non-Native Americans playing Native Americans, but it still carries a message and, most importantly, features a great hero in the lead role whom I enjoyed watching, and it didn't offend me in the slightest.
