Arthur is a music critic for a well-known magazine. After yet another mistreatment, he has been referred to field reporting. While covering the evacuation of a migrant camp on the outskirts of Paris, he is a victim of police brutality and accidentally becomes the face of the refugee cause. Due to his new status, he gets to spend more time with the brilliant and attractive Mathilde, a former lawyer who is now the head of an association that supports migrants, but also to welcome Daoud, a young Afghan, whom he agrees to house until the asylum application is processed, which should not take more than a few days... This is a beautiful film with good character dynamics that deals with big themes such as immigration and humanitarian work without feeling forced and pretentious.
