For the Time Being

Michelle and Jermaine were married in New York’s highest-security prison. Soon after they started dating, Jermaine was sentenced to a term of 22 years to life. But his wife is tirelessly trying to prove that he didn’t commit premeditated murder. She has presented the court with new documents and believes that in time his innocence will be proven. Friends in similar situations, regular phone calls to the prison, and faith in justice give her strength, but hope is nevertheless beginning to fade as the years pass.
