The Great Generation holds a birthday party early Autumn in 1989, in the Balaton weekend house of Horváth Imre. They are uncounselled about the ongoing changes, they live in the safety of their existence established in the eighties, and they all expect Imre to take a politically active role. Imre, however, is the most confused of all, mostly because of his only seemingly ended relationship with the daughter of his best friend. In the customarily depressing minutes of dawn Rita announces that she is expecting a baby from Imre. The man is too coward to face the consequences. Zsófi is the one to decide: she leaves her husband. The question of Ritas university student friend - where do we go? - keeps unanswered. (official distributor synopsis)
