Three elderly distinguished gentlemen are searching for some excitement in their boring borgoueis lives and gets in contact with one of count Dracula's servants. In a nightly ceremony they restore the count back to life. The three men killed Dracula's servant and as a revenge, the count makes sure that the gentlemen are killed one by one by their own sons. It seems that I won’t become a fan of Hammer, I am already over-draculed with all these Draculas. It’s interesting that a few decades ago nobody minded all this recycling and now they hate it at every step. This blood sucking count has more films than he should deserve, and this one in particular is very weak.

Taste the Blood of Dracula is a middle-of-the-road film within the entire Hammer Dracula series, and it's as if this fact alone defines its place on the quality ladder. It's not a good film in the sense that all the stories simply blend together and fail to captivate you. This one is interesting for the first 20, maybe 30 minutes, but then it falls into the standard.
