Marci, an impertinent crook buries his drunk parents and chooses to wander instead of becoming an apprentice. He is a great womaniser and even seduces his friend, Soma's, wife and though they both go separate ways, Soma keeps on vexing Marci. He can only escape from the arms of the beautiful inn-keeper's wife in the last moment, through the window. Eszti, the charming house-maid shows him real love, but she is taken from under his nose by the wealthier clerk. For Marci an always exciting cuckoo-life remains. (official distributor synopsis)
