What I have to highlight are the special effects, which stand out. I liked them immensely. Even though the effects are somewhat simpler and not of the highest quality, and the miniatures are quite simplified, it still managed to captivate me, perhaps because the special effects scenes take up a considerable amount of time in the film. So, for once, a slightly higher rating for a Gamera film, even though most films in the series usually don't fare well against kaiju films.
