Biography

Mexican cinematographer. Formed in a family of visual artists and documentary filmmakers, he developed a keen, instructed eye which derives from this practices. He started as a camera assistant, with great cinematographers like Alex Philips and Angel Goded. Afterwards, he arrived to Guadalajara to study his career as cinematographer. In his almost 40 years of trajectory, he has participated in various films. Xibalba, Curse of the Mayans, 4 Altares and El Fogonero del Delirio are part of his filmography, as well as numerous awards and prizes, which turn him into a reference in Jalisco’s cinema.
