Biography
Actor, director and screenwriter. He studied film editing. His first short film, Open Eyes, a portrait about suicides at Tokyo train stations, won 13 international awards. The Medal is his second short film that explores the language of silent films by portraying an apocryphal biography of the famous tango composer Catulo Castillo.
