Biography
Bahman Farmanara graduated from the USC in 1966. He produced Abbas Kiarostami’s first feature (The Report, 1974) and directed, among others, Prince Ehtejab (1973, Cannes Directors’ Fortnight), Tall Shadows of the Wind (1975, Critics’ Week), Smell of Camphor, Fragrance of Jasmine (1996) and A House Built on Water (1998).
