Biography
Ana A. Alpizar is a Cuban filmmaker based in NYC and Miami. She is a co-founder of fila20 filmes, a Cuban American company whose films have been shown, awarded, and sold worldwide. As a writer/director, her short The Premiere won the top prize at the China Women's Film Festival and was selected by a dozen other events. The Fisherman won the Grand Jury Prize and many additional awards at Muestra Joven 2017.
