Biography
Jakob Rørvik is one of the most talented young writer-directors in Norway. He graduated from the Masters course at the UK´s National Film and Television School, as the youngest student ever. Rørvik’s graduation film Vanilla Song was selected for the Cinéfondation competition at Cannes, his medium length film Scratch won the main prize at Aubagne in 2010, and My Friend Kills Time premiered in competition at South By Southwest in 2012.
As a commercials and content director, Rørvik has worked for several major clients, and his fashion-ad Hunger was nominated for the Young Directors Award in Cannes 2013.
