Biography
ZANG Qiwu started his film career in 1999 and has worked as assistant director, deputy director, and executive director. From 2005 to 2012, he has been in the team of Chinese film director Zhang Yimou, and participated in filming his well-known films such as Curse of the Golden Flower (2006) and A Woman, A Gun and A Noodle Shop (2009). Over the years, he has been shooting various publicly released Chinese films such as Phoenix (2007), The Assassins (2012) and My War (2016). He directed his first feature film The Donor in 2016.
