Biography
Nahid Hassanzadeh was born in Mianeh, Iran in 1974. In 1998, she received the midwife degree from the University of Tehran. Afterwards, she studied film at the Iranian Young Cinema Society in Tehran. Hassenzadeh's career as a midwife influences her decisions when choosing the themes of her movies. She wants to call attention to the conflict potential between women and the paternalistic society. Seven fictional and documentary short films emerged between 2001 and 2012. Her latest movie "Zamani Digar" (2016) is her first feature film.
