Biography
Makoto Ueda launched Europe Kikaku in 1998. While in charge of screenwriting and direction for all performances, he specializes in science fiction comedy. Besides being involved in the planning and structure for television and radio programs, Ueda also writes screenplays for films. In 2017, he won the 61st Kishida Prize for Drama for the play, ‘Kiteketsukarubeki Shinsekai’.
